San Joaquin County Democratic Committee May 2015 Meeting

Great San Joaquin DCC meeting this month. We heard updates from Stockton City Council Members Dan Wright, Moses Zapien and Christina Fugazi. All Democrats are welcomed and encouraged to attend our monthly meetings on the 1st Saturday of the month at 8:30 am at the SJ County Office of Education in the “Justice” room. 04-26-2015: Truman Club Reception

The Truman Club of San Joaquin had a special reception with Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins. It was a very lovely reception that was attended by the Assembly Democratic Caucus Chair, Asm. Susan Talamantes- Eggman (AD 13) and Senator Cathleen Galgiani (SD 5).1

Frisbees are the SEIU Local 1000, Lavender Committee items that they had ordered for participation in the upcoming 2015 Pride Festivals. They were given to the host, Former State Senator, Patrick Johnston, Speaker of the Assembly, Toni Atkins and Asm. Susan Eggman (AD-13).

Maria Patterson is the Chair of the Lavender Committee for SEIU Local 1000. The Truman Club put on a very engaging and lovely reception and we were glad to attend.
